These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

2. Terms and Conditions – Reservation and Payment

2.1 POLICIES

Prices of DREAMY VILLAS include:

• Cleaning and change of bed linen and towels every 3 days
• Cleaning of the swimming pool every 3 days

Reservations can only be made in written form, by e-mail or via the online reservation system of our website. Reservations are confirmed upon deposit receipt. We require a deposit in advance of part of the total cost (50% of the total sum). Payment must be completed 25 days before arrival date. The reservation is not confirmed until the deposit in advance is received. The outstanding balance is paid off 25 days prior to arrival (or earlier).
For The Dreamy Villas, minimum stay is five (5) nights. Reservations of shorter duration are not accepted.

Description

• Manuel’s Dream: 300 sqm Villa and 43 sqm swimming pool (including kids pool)
• Bessie’s Dream: 115 sqm Villa and 28 sqm swimming pool
• Aphrodite’s Dream: 85 sqm Villa and 21 sqm swimming pool

Comments

• 50% of the total Reservation price will be charged to confirm the booking.
• Cancellations are refundable 25 days before booking start date.
• Children are allowed. Children count as persons. For your convenience, if children are travelling with you inform us about their exact age and if you will be needing a Baby Cot or a High Chair.
• Pets are not allowed.
• The Caretakers of the villas need time to prepare the accommodation for the next guests. Although it is not necessary to vacate the villa before the check out time, please take into consideration that the staff may arrive before that time.

2.2 Condition of Payments

• Prices include all taxes.
• For reservations till 25 days before the arrival, we require a deposit of the 50% of the total cost. The reservation is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
• The outstanding balance is due 25 days prior to arrival (or earlier). On receipt of full payment, we will send you final instructions which include directions and check-in details.
• For Non - refundable bookings the whole amount will be charged upon reservation.
• There are no other charges to be added. After payment is charged, you will receive your travel documents along with your payment receipt.

2.3 Booking and confirmation

A booking is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a booking reference number. You may receive this verbally, in writing, or through our booking system. When you make a booking, you must state your name, address, email address, arrival and departure time, and payment method. It is important for you to provide your email address so you can receive your booking confirmation. Different terms apply to different rates; please see the detailed pricing information. For security reasons, only employees and checked-in guests have access to the villas and swimming pools.

2.4 Arrival and departure

Arrival and departure times may vary depending on the booking and price agreements. Please read the information in the description page carefully before you complete your reservation.

2.5 Late booking

Reservations made less than 25 days before arrival date are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit amounting to 100 % of the total cost.

2.6 Cancellation Policy

• In case of cancellation up to 25 days before arrival date, 30% of the deposit is kept.
• For cancellations made from 24 to 7 days before date of arrival, 50% cancellation fees will apply.
• For cancellations from 7 days before the arrival date and in case of no-show, the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
• A booking is considered cancelled on the day that Dreamy Villas have received a written cancellation from the guest.

2.7 Extension/Change of dates

In case you ask the extension of your stay, this is not always possible, but we will try our best to serve you. In case you stay fewer days than the ones booked, no refund will be given and Dreamy Villas has the right to rent the villa to other guests after your departure. A significant change of dates can be considered as a cancellation.

2.8 Flight arrangements

Please make your own flight arrangements and then inform us of the details. We are not responsible for any problems with flights such as delays or cancellations by the operator or their agents.

2.9 Tourist tax

Greece levies a tourist tax per night. This extra fee is included in the single night accommodation rate and must not be paid directly at the villa.

2.10 Storage of valuables and luggage

As a general rule, your valuables may be kept in the room’s safe. Dreamy Villas are not liable for any items you keep in your room. Through our monitoring system, we can have detailed information on who accessed the common car parking areas and the exact time, in order to track any existing evidence, regarding a possible loss of your valuables.

2.11 Processing of Personal Data

The processing of personal data will be completed in accordance with the Dreamy Villa’s Privacy Policy. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how the Dreamy Villas treats your personal information for the purpose of managing your reservation, as well as your rights associated with this treatment.

3. Payment Methods

The following payment methods apply. Dreamy Villas is not obliged to accept cheques, vouchers, or foreign currency.

4. Health and Safety

We strive to provide exceptional service to all of you by attaining adequate and strict hygiene, safety and quality standards. We have taken all appropriate measures and are implementing strict operational methods in order to ensure a safe and joyful environment according to Governmental health protocols so that you can enjoy your holiday with us.
Dreamy Villas has no responsibility for accidents, injury, death or loss, including consequential damages from the rental and use of the villas. By accepting this Agreement you fully legally waive any future claim against Dreamy Villas in case any such event occurs.

4.1 Fire extinguishers

Always familiarize yourself with fire extinguishers. Detectors with very good activation functions are used to detect the most common product of fire, i.e smoke.

4.2 Fitness equipment directions for Manuel’s dream Villa

The villa Manuel’s dream provides fitness equipment (multi home gym, exercise family bike, recliner exercise bench) at the basement and an elliptical exercise machine on the first floor. No children are allowed to use this fitness equipment unless they are older than 16 years old or if they are supervised by an adult. You have to use the fitness equipment with care at your sole discretion and responsibility. Dreamy Villas has no responsibility for accidents, either to adults who misuse the equipment or to children who gain unsupervised access.

4.3 Pool instructions

Dreamy Villas are three independent villas each of which has a private pool. All three pools have depth of 1 meter and 40 centimeter (1,40 meters). The pool of Villa Manuel’s dream also includes a kids pool, which has depth of 60 centimeters (0,60 meters). Because of this low depth of the pools, according to Law, it is not necessary for a lifeguard to be present. It is noted that in every villa there is a handbook with instructions, which mentions in detail the regulations of pool hygiene that must be applied by each user. Upon arrival at the property you must take time to familiarize yourselves with the location, layout and depths of the swimming pool. Please take note of the pool warning signs, depth markings and other instructions for use, which are displayed. Young children must not be allowed to wander unaccompanied in the grounds of any property where there is a swimming pool. You are responsible for the safety of those using the pool at all times. Children must be properly supervised at all times whilst using or in the vicinity of any swimming pool.

4.4 Insurance Requirements

Holiday and travel Insurance, is essential for your own protection and we strongly recommend that you and all members of your party be suitably insured. If you choose to travel without adequate holiday insurance, we will not be liable for any losses however arising in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.

5. Use of the property

Accommodation is only for the use of those people named at the time of booking and if you wish to add members to your party, you should inform in writing, with any extra payment due. The number of persons (adults and children) may not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the Booking Confirmation.
The Client must ensure that the property and all household items and equipment are treated with care and returned in the same good condition as found.
The Client agrees to occupy and use the villa in such manner as to not disturb the peace or breach applicable legislation. Consideration should also be given to neighbours and other people. The Client is responsible for leaving the Property in the condition it was in on arrival save fair wear and tear. The Client is responsible for its own acts and omissions as well as those of its guests
You shall use the Property only for the purpose for which it has been let to you (personal lodging). It is forbidden to use the premises for any kind of commercial use during the rental (photoshoots, seminars), and/or to hold parties for entertainment or a function involving a large number of invitees unless expressly agreed upon in writing. Should you make unauthorised use of the Property as indicated, we reserve the right to ask all guests to vacate the Property immediately. You shall not sublet the Property under any circumstance whatsoever.

6. Force Majeure

Dreamy Villas shall not bear any responsibility if the execution of this agreement is no longer possible because of force majeure. All of the following shall be considered force majeure: the threat of war, an act of terrorism, strikes, fires, natural disasters or any other event which is beyond the control of Dreamy Villas.

7. Standards

If you have a problem during your holiday, immediately inform the local representative who will then endeavor to put things right.
Inevitably, items break or require maintenance, therefore please be aware that you may encounter maintenance staff and gardeners during your stay. Please leave the villa in a reasonably clean and tidy condition, and remove all rubbish at the end of your stay.
The accommodation is for the exclusive use of the clients and is not to be sub-let under any circumstances. All breakages and losses must be paid for prior to departure, which normally ends at noon on the last day of rental. In case of late departure, we can extend your stay in the villa only in case that not new clients are expected.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Booking Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. In the event of any dispute concerning the terms and conditions of this contract, the court of law of Rethymno shall have jurisdiction.
On paying the first payment to confirm the booking the client totally and unconditionally accepts these Booking Terms.
Should one of the above terms be or become ineffective, the remaining terms retain their validity. The effectiveness of the travel contract as a whole remains unaffected.

In case of any legal action of any kind involving the undersigned directly or indirectly, the abovementioned time limit shall be suspended throughout the proceedings and until an irrevocable court decision has been taken.

To ensure the security of your personal data, Dreamy Villas takes all technical and organizational measures to protect its paper and electronic files, from accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, prohibited dissemination or access and any other form of unlawful processing.

Dreamy Villas will not offer for sale, will not transfer in any way and will not disclose personal data of its clients to anyone, without their consent, except for the competent authorities, if it is required by the law.
